Well I've spent the last couple of days with my new New Zealand family out on the Vinyard in Kumeu. It's been hard to drag myself away from Eileen, Bill, troy and the dogs and cat. Yesterday was the most beautiful sunny day but still frosty cold so I took photos and went for a bike ride and walked with Flash the dog.
I like New Zealand, the people are so freindly and hospitable and there seems to be alot to see and do. I have to run off now as I'm catching "the magic bus" up north for a few days.

Dog walking, bike riding, wine drinking and rain showers, I could be in Williamstown!

After a couple of days of jetlag daze in the rain and sunshine of Aukland I'm finally beginning to feel a bit human again. Aukland seems like a nice place and I'm sure would be alot nicer without the drizzle, it's another one of those places where travellers are only stopping off for a day or two after the arrival of their flight or just before it's departure. This phenomenon has meant a string of half hour friends for me until I finally hooked up with Lucy's friend Troy after many failed attempts. We went rock climbing yesterday, I'm not quite as bad at it as I remember from my days in the burren but the ten year old kids on the harder climbs were still kicking my ass, can't wait to go again. After rock climbing we sat at the top of mount Eden with our kebabs watching the sunset over Aukland and the silhouettes of the krazy kiwis bungee jumpung off the Sky tower. I checked out of my hostel thismorning and I'm going to stay out in Troys place in the countryside for a couple of days to do some bike riding and dog walking.

Aukland, New Zealand
Welcome to the second leg of my travels which starts today in Aukland New Zealand. I arrived a couple of hours ago and I was wide awake even though it was only 4.30 in the morning but for me it's still the middle of yesterday. Time has become a huge confusion for me as I've lost the 19th of June never to be returned. If you want to keep up to date with me you should add this address to your favourites and don't worry there'll always be a link to my south america story in case you want to go back in time.
